
Kelli’s noteworthy performance as a competitive gymnast in the state of Washington followed her to the collegiate level where she earned a position on the University of Washington Cheerleading Squad. Nationally recognized coaches Mike Baker and Tom Coffey valued Kelli’s technical performance and leadership skills. Upon completion of her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology she was selected to assist in training the University of Washington Cheer Squad and continued to coach at the high school level as well.
The culmination of her experience as a competitive gymnast, cheerleader and coach inspired her career as a personal trainer. In order to become nationally certified she attended Ashmead College’s Personal Trainer Program in preparation for her exams. Through the NSCA she became a nationally Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and went on to pursue an additional national certification as an ACSM Health/Fitness Instructor.
In order to reach out to more individuals and continue to grow as a personal trainer she developed Performance Fitness. It has allowed her to influence more people and be more creative with her approach. Outside of working with her private client base she continues to attract such client’s as the Seattle Sonics Dance Team. She conducts weekly group workouts that compliment their rigorous schedule addressing individual team member’s health and fitness goals.
